As skin care continues to be a trending topic, Dr. Davis made an appearance on PHL17 with Demetria Green to discuss how certain foods can affect the health of your skin. It may sound simple, but eliminating a few sugary foods from your diet and adding in what Dr. Davis refers to as “Wrinkle Wreckers” can make a significant difference.
Going forward, it’s crucial for you to try to avoid these substances as much as possible:
- Butter
- Whole milk
- Margarine
- Red meat or processed meat
- Potatoes
- Sugar
- Soft drinks
This may sound impossible to some, but we’re not telling you to eliminate everything 100%. By beginning the process of being aware of how food affects your skin, you’re on your way to a healthier lifestyle all together.
